As an external collaborator, I provided 3D visualization support for Jamie Fobert Architects in the development of the Versace boutique in Piazza di Spagna, Rome. This project, the first in Italy to showcase the architect’s new concept for the brand, required detailed spatial studies and material explorations to refine the design vision before execution.
Spanning 240 square meters, the boutique features fluid, curvilinear walls, sculptural rough-plaster shelving, and magnificent mosaic floors inspired by 9th-century Byzantine churches. A refined material palette of marble, brass, and perspex harmoniously blends traditional Italian opulence with contemporary architectural language.
Through high-fidelity 3D modeling, my role was to translate conceptual ideas into immersive visual simulations, enabling precise evaluation of materials, lighting, and spatial compositions before final approval by the client.
